About the job

KCA University's School of Education, Arts and Social Sciences wants a Film Technician to manage production and post-production equipment and labs. The technician looks after cameras, lighting and sound kit, oversees editing and colour grading facilities, handles data backups and equipment loans, and trains and mentors student film crews. Evening and weekend work may be needed.

Key responsibilities

Maintain film production and post-production equipment
Oversee editing, grading and mixing facilities

Train and mentor student crews

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in film production, cinematography or digital media
At least one year in film or video production or running a media lab
Skill with digital cinema cameras, lighting and sound
Colour grading and data management skills
