About the job

UNICEF Kenya is engaging a consultant for twelve months, office-based in Nairobi with travel, to coordinate its RISE education and youth interventions, including alternative learning work. The coordinator supports implementation across workstreams, strengthens links with government and partners, and contributes to evidence and monitoring so that programmes stay inclusive for vulnerable adolescents and youth.

Key responsibilities

Support programme implementation across workstreams
Strengthen coordination with government and partners
Contribute to evidence and adaptive learning
Support monitoring and systems strengthening

Qualifications

At least seven years in education programme design or youth engagement
Fluent English and Kiswahili
Experience using digital innovation in education
Knowledge of CBE and alternative learning pathways
Understanding of safeguarding and data protection
