About the job

KCA University is appointing a Director for its Professional and Technical Training Institute at the main campus in Ruaraka. The director leads the institute under its strategic plan, oversees programme quality and industry relevance, manages the budget, pursues partnerships and revenue, and keeps the institute compliant with regulators. The post reports to the University Council through the Vice Chancellor.

Key responsibilities

Oversee programme quality and relevance
Prepare budgets and monitor finances
Develop revenue and partnerships
Ensure regulatory compliance, including TVETA

Qualifications

Master's degree and relevant bachelor's degree
A professional, technical or vocational qualification
At least ten years of relevant experience, three at management level in higher learning or TVET
Membership of a professional association in good standing
