About the job

UNICEF Kenya is engaging county coordinators for a twelve-month consultancy, based in Kilifi, Turkana or Bungoma with travel. Coordinators support the RISE education and youth interventions on the ground, working with county governments and implementing partners, and helping generate evidence. The aim is to keep programmes equitable and responsive to vulnerable adolescents and youth.

Key responsibilities

Support programme implementation in the county
Coordinate with county government and partners
Contribute to evidence and adaptive learning
Deliver agreed outputs to UNICEF standards

Qualifications

Degree in education, social sciences, youth development or project management
At least four years in education, youth or community programmes
Fluent English and Kiswahili
Experience working with county governments and NGOs
Understanding of safeguarding
