Korogocho Nyayo is a Missions of Hope International centre that has run since 2012, when it opened with 58 children. It now teaches around 590 learners from pre-primary to Grade 6, with 34 staff members. Its pupils come from three parts of Korogocho: Nyayo, Kisumu Ndogo and the area known as Sewage. The charity describes its work there as helping families move from depending on handouts to standing on their own, and the school is part of that effort alongside parent groups. Lessons follow the Competency Based Curriculum in a Christian setting, and all learners are day scholars.
