Kenya School of Flying – Ukunda base

Kenya School of Flying names Ukunda Airstrip, the small airfield serving Diani Beach on the south coast, as one of its flight bases alongside Malindi and Orly Airpark. The school's head office and ground school are at Wilson Airport in Nairobi; outstation bases like Ukunda give students extra flying in less congested airspace. Courses run under the school's KCAA approval: private and commercial pilot licences, multi-engine and instrument ratings, airline transport pilot licence theory and the instructor rating. Note that the current KCAA list of approved training organisations names Wilson, Malindi and Orly Airpark as the school's approved locations and does not yet show Ukunda, so families should confirm with the school which training is done there before enrolling.
