About the job

The German School Nairobi is looking for a STEM facilitator for its extra-curricular activities programme. The facilitator will plan and run hands-on science, technology and engineering clubs for learners from kindergarten to upper secondary, adapting projects to each age group. Experience working with children is essential; a degree or diploma in a STEM field, teacher training or TSC registration are an advantage.

Key responsibilities

Plan and run hands-on STEM clubs
Adapt activities to learners of different ages
Manage materials and equipment safely
Encourage curiosity and teamwork

Qualifications

Legal right to work in Kenya
Proven experience working with children or young people in a school, club, childcare or community setting
Able to plan engaging activities for learners from kindergarten to upper secondary
A relevant degree or diploma, TSC registration, international school experience or German are an advantage
