C.G.H.U. Primary is a small public school right in the busy downtown grid, at the corner of Ronald Ngala Street and Vyoma Street east of Tom Mboya Street. Its city-centre plot is tight, and the 2020 records counted around 240 pupils in 20 classrooms. A secondary school with the same initials, C.G.H.U. Mixed Secondary, is also registered in Starehe. The primary is a free day school for boys and girls under the Nairobi county education office, teaching the Competency Based Curriculum from pre-primary.
