Proactive Air Services (Proactive Flight)

Proactive Air Services Limited, which trades as Proactive Flight, is a flight training school at Wilson Airport in Nairobi, running since 2013 and approved by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority as Approved Training Organisation No. 10. It trains for the Private Pilot Licence, the Commercial Pilot Licence and the Multi-Engine Instrument Rating, and handles licence conversions and renewals; its site also lists a Flight Operations Officer course. Students fly a mix of Cessna 150, 152 and 172 trainers, and multi-engine and instrument work is done on a Beechcraft Baron (BE55/58). Before flying, students can practise on a Redbird FMX full-motion simulator that the school says is KCAA and FAA approved. The school also has classrooms, a library, a briefing room and a student lounge. Training can be arranged full-time or around a job. Entry asks for age 17 or over, a secondary school certificate and a valid Kenyan medical.
