About the job

Kenya Medical Training College is recruiting 15 Principal Lecturers for its campuses. These are senior teaching posts for health professionals who have already served as senior lecturers or in a similar role. Successful candidates will lead teaching in their field, develop training manuals and support the college's management. Medical, pharmacy and dental graduates need fewer years of experience than other health professionals.

Key responsibilities

Lead teaching in their health discipline
Develop and review training manuals
Mentor lecturers and students
Support departmental management

Qualifications

Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Medical Laboratory Sciences or a KMTC higher diploma
Three years (medical, pharmacy, dental) or nine years (others) of relevant experience, including three as Senior Lecturer
Management course of at least four weeks and teaching methodology course
At least three teaching manuals developed
Valid practising licence and computer skills
