About

Ninety-Nines Flying School is a private pilot training school based at Wilson Airport, Nairobi, which says it began in 1975. It trains pilots from first lessons to airline level: the Private Pilot Licence, Commercial Pilot Licence, multi-engine instrument rating, Airline Transport Pilot Licence theory and qualified flying instructor courses. Training uses the school's own aircraft and a flight simulator, and the school also has engineers who maintain its fleet. The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority lists Ninety-Nines among its approved training organisations at Wilson Airport; KCAA lists in different years name extra bases at the coast. Entry for pilot training normally requires a KCAA medical certificate.
