KCA University Professional and Technical Training Institute

KCA University Professional and Technical Training Institute (KCAU PTTI) is the TVET and professional-courses arm of KCA University and is based at the university's main campus on Thika Road in Ruaraka. Its roots go back to the Kenya College of Accountancy, which the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya set up in 1989 to train CPAs; the college became KCA University in 2007, and the institute was formed in 2017 to run diploma, certificate and professional programmes separately from the degree courses. It is a private institution. Professional courses prepare students for KASNEB papers such as CPA, CS, CIFA and the procurement and HR professional exams, as well as ACCA, CISA, ICDL and Cisco certifications. Diplomas include banking, human resource management, project management, computer networks and system administration, data management and analytics, and culinary arts, with certificate courses in culinary arts and project management. Diploma students do an industrial attachment supervised by the institute. Students share the university's library, computer labs and other campus facilities.
