How it works
The principal starts MuKonnect from the school's Muhula dashboard and adds the classes. Free for 30 days.
Each class teacher adds students (from an Excel list) and invites parents with private links by WhatsApp, SMS or email.
Parents and students create an account with just a username and password and open their link. Nobody gets in without one.
Built for everyone in the school
Private by design
Everyone sees names only. A call-back number is shown only to the person asked to call, and deleted afterwards.
There is no public sign-up into a school. Each person needs a private link from the school.
Students cannot message other students or other families privately. Teachers can mute and remove.
No advertising inside MuKonnect, pages are hidden from search engines and photos are private to the school.
Plans
Start with a 30-day free trial for up to 45 students. Parents are always free. After the trial, plans are priced by the number of students, from 45 up to 250 (bigger schools and single classes by quote), paid monthly, per term or yearly by M-Pesa or card.
Prices are shared privately with school admins: register your school and you will see the plans, the price per student and the total for your school on your plan page.

Questions
Both. It works in any phone or computer browser, and on Android or iPhone you can add it to your home screen like an app (Add to Home screen).
No. The school subscribes by the number of students; parents are always free and never counted.
No. The teacher can create student accounts from the class list and print sign-in slips. Students with a phone can use the class link instead.
No. Contact details are never shown inside MuKonnect. Parents who want a call request it, and only the person asked sees the number.
Everyone keeps access to what is already there. To add more students or teachers, the principal chooses a plan; it can be paid by M-Pesa or card.
